FareSpotter LLC (the “Company”) has created this privacy statement in order to demonstrate our commitment to your privacy. The following Privacy Policy discloses our information gathering and dissemination practices for FareSpotter.net (the “Site”). This Privacy Policy governs your use of the Site and any content, products or services made available from or through the Site, including any sub domains thereof. By visiting the Site and requesting information, products or services offered on or through the Site, you agree to abide by the terms of this Privacy Policy, as they may be amended from time to time. Our Privacy Policy may change from time to time and the Company reserves the right to change or modify our Privacy Policy at any time with or without notice by posting changes to the Site. IP Addresses
The Company uses IP addresses to analyze trends, administer the Site, customize the Site to meet our users' needs, and help diagnose problems with our servers. The Company will not use your IP address to locate or identify any personal identifiable information about you. IP addresses are also used to gather broad demographic information and to prevent, investigate, and take actions in the case of suspected fraud or abuse.
Web Tracking and Analytics
The Company tracks and analyzes visitor activity through cookies, log files, and pixels, so that we may better understand how our users make use of the Site and the effectiveness of our marketing campaigns, and so that we may better tailor content to meet our users' needs. The Site contains links to other web sites. We are not responsible for the privacy practices or the content of such web sites. We encourage you to be aware when you leave our site and to read the privacy statements of every web site that collects personally identifiable information.
Children Under 13 Years Old
The Company does not knowingly collect, maintain or use personal information from the Site about children under age 13. Children under the age of 13 may not participate in any online activities on the Site. If a child whom we know to be under age 13 sends personal information to us online, we will only use that information to respond directly to that child, notify parents, or seek parental consent.
Security
The Company has security measures in place to protect user information under our control against loss, misuse, or alteration. Access to private and confidential data is limited to only those employees with a specific need to retrieve this information. Data is stored on multiple server systems and written to tapes. All server systems are located in a secure, limited access Class A facility complete with environmentally controlled conditions, raised floors, and dry sprinkler systems.
Advertising Partners
Advertising customers can contact advertising sales by filling out an online form. This form asks for name, company name, phone, fax, and e-mail. This is an optional feature to help the Company make contact with interested advertising customers, and as such the information cannot be automatically updated once submitted. This information will not be shared with any third parties in ways other than disclosed in this privacy statement.
Legal Proceedings
Though we make every effort to preserve your privacy we may need to disclose personal information when required by law wherein we have a good-faith belief that such action is necessary to comply with a current judicial proceeding, a court order or legal process served on our Web site.
